Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to burden their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several methods to get these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When item upgrading has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
